One of the exciting (and low-pressure) decisions we got to make as we embark on this journey toward parenthood is the nursery theme. We considered several options before deciding on Baby Jungle Animals. Who doesn't love a chubby little elephant or snuggly monkey? My mom found us a cute crib set and we're trying to find creative (read: thrifty) ways to coordinate the rest of the room.

My mom (being the crafty-type) is crocheting a set of animals to match the ones on the blanket. How awesome is that?!

check the resale shops around portland. great stuff! also do craigslist for baby walkers, bouncy chairs, high chairs, baby gates, etc., etc.
you will be shocked at how much stuff a little baby needs in the world.

Hey, we chose the same theme, but different bedding. So cute! Can't wait to see it finished! We got our furniture today... It's all very exciting!
It's a set from Target but my mom actually found it at a consignment shop. The picture was just online and we are getting a crib from Pearl. My cousin is giving us a bassinet and a swing and Amanda gave us a bouncy seat. I've been browsing Craigslist for other baby gear and there are some great deals out there. Thanks for all the offers of help - we'll keep you posted! =)
